HORIZONTAL LIFELINE SYSTEM
We are authorized installers for Capital Safety's
EVOLUTION and SAFYGLIDA Engineered horizontal lifeline systems.
|
| |
 |
MANSAFE HORIZONTAL
AND VERTICAL LIFELINE SYSTEMS
ISM installs Latchways ManSafe Horizontal and Vertical Lifeline
Systems. |
| |
 |
SHUTTLE FALL PREVENTION SYSTEM
Fall Prevention should always be the priority when attempting to address Fall Hazards. When the possibility of entering the Fall Hazard is eliminated, engineering and design requirements are less stringent and often less costly. Post Fall Rescue consideration and Training requirements are also reduced.
|
| |
 |
LADDER / TOWER SYSTEMS
Frequently accessed ladders are good candidates for permanently installed Systems. These Systems are maintenance free and provide continuous protection for workers. Towers requiring maintenance are also good candidates. These systems can be rigid or flexible.
|
| |
 |
SHUTTLE FALL ARREST SYSTEM
When Guardrails or Travel Restricting are not possible options, and the worker is exposed to the hazard of a Fall, Fall Arrest Methodology must be used. Fall Arrest Systems must be Failsafed and Engineered. A well designed System will allow the worker to travel freely without having to disconnect from the System.

| |
 |
TROLLEY ANCHOR
This new anchor system realistically alleviates the hazard of
exceeding more than a 6’ free fall. It also provides more freedom
of movement for the worker. This anchor system is attached to the
rails with 4 rail sliders; wheels allow it to roll on the top of the
rail.
|
| |
 |
SLED ANCHOR The Sled Anchor
was developed to provide railroad bridge fall protection when the rails
and ties are removed. The Sled Anchor easily rolls on 8" to 24" wide
girders.
|
| |
 |
GRIZZLY 1350 The GRIZZLY
1350 Davit Arm was jointly developed with a local mining company to
provide worker fall protection and rescue capabilities when working at
an underground or surface Grizzly to an ore or rock pass.
|
| |
  |
QUIK STIK The QUIK STIK
System is a railroad bridge temporary horizontal lifeline system that
easily attaches to to railroad ties using ratchet straps.

BLADE ACCESS CLEANING SYSTEM FOR WIND
TURBINES Wind Turbines in arid climates or where there is
insufficient rainfall to help keep the turbine blades clean require
regular manual cleaning to eliminate dust and insect buildup, which
would otherwise deform the shape of the airfoil and degrade turbine
performance. The Pro-bel Blade Access Cleaning System provides a means
to safely access and clean wind turbine blades. |
| |
 |
TOWER HOIST
PERSONNEL CAGE (Click to download brochure in separate window)
The Tower Hoist Personnnel Cage provides a safe means to access all
sorts of towers including Wind Turbines. It is designed to travel
on existing or new vertical metal ladders that are normally used to
access tower structures |

 |
RESCUE SYSTEMS
Whenever the possibility of a fall is present, a Post Fall Rescue plan must be in place. The equipment should be user friendly and efficient. Users must remember that, prolonged suspension, even in a full body harness, must be avoided. On average, after 15 minutes, the possibility of further injury to a fallen worker is possible.
|
| |
 |
ANCHORAGE DEVICES
Anchorage devices are used to allow workers to connect to anchorage. Whether anchoring to a rail, structural beam, structural column, anchorage devices are designed and tested. A well designed anchorage device is user friendly and promotes proper usage.

SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
At the core of ISM's business model is the ongoing effort to explore new methods and technology. The specialty products section showcases new and novel approaches in protecting people, process and profits.
ISM's first showcase is the Tarpslinger. This equipment allows tarps to be installed without employees having to leave the ground.
