GRIZZLY 1350
The GRIZZLY 1350 Davit Arm was jointly developed with a local mining
company to provide worker fall protection and rescue capabilities when
working at an underground or surface Grizzly to an ore or rock pass. The
GRIZZLY 1350 can be used with Miller or DBI retrieval SRL's, and it also
includes an anchor point for use with rope and rope grabs or shock
absorbing lanyards. It has an extentable arm with up to a 10ft reach
allowing the worker to access the far side of most Grizzlies while
reducing swing fall pendulum effect. The Grizzly 1350 is a free standing
counterweight design with the counterweight being a large steel encased
concrete block. The block is designed to be moved with a scoop while the
steel davit arm components can be disassembled for storage or when it
needs to be moved to another location.
