STORAGE TANK TRAVEL RESTRICTING SYSTEM

While stairs provide a means of access, the possibility of tripping, falling and then thumbling down is a very real hazard. The tank is 100ft high and the stairway is 45 degrees. ISM was able to solve the customer's problem by installing a rigid rail system. The rail had to be custom bent in the field. Although the challenges were many, the end result is a user friendly system that the workers will actually be happy use. This system is certified P.Eng.

LADDER/TOWER SYSTEM - FLEXIBLE

Flexible Systems are an ideal and cost effective way of providing Fall Protection to workers who must access ladders or towers. The Systems are continuous allowing the worker to travel freely while connected.

LADDER/TOWER SYSTEM - RIGID

In certain conditions a rigid system is better suited. A rigid system has the ability to limit the forces exercised on the ladder by nature of it's design. The applied loads are distributed on the whole ladder instead of a few rungs.
