ISM "EZQ" PERSONNEL LIFTING, LOWERING AND RESCUE SYSTEM The ISM "EZQ" is a lightweight pre-configured 3:1 mechanical advantage personnel lifting, lowering and rescue system. Simple one person operation eliminates the need for difficult to learn rescue rigging techniques such as figure 8's, brake bars, load-releasing hitches - and provides you with complete versatility, increased safety, and - finally - the ability for everyone to perform confined space and post fall rescues. Rigged vertically, in a block & tackle configuration, the "EZQ" can be anchored to a tripod, ladder-truck, beam or any other overhead anchor point, for raising and, with its built-in uni-directional friction drum - effortless lowering.
This configuration allows raising and controlled lowering at will - with no changes in rigging! Ideal for confined space rescues or any rescue which is vertical

Add a secondary fall arrest system and a bosun's
chair and you have a simple vertical work positioning system.
